Athena Triglia (PharmD, MS, BCPS) is a Visante consultant specializing in optimizing specialty pharmacy, medication access, and infusion strategies.

Athena completed her PGY1/PGY2 Health System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership (HSPAL) residency at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Her leadership was instrumental in expanding a renowned health system drug repository program, earning the program an ASHP Best Practice Award. She also devised several successful proposals to enhance specialty pharmacy services and pioneered new medication assistance models, including an inpatient prior authorization role. Athena excels in conducting thorough financial analyses to identify opportunities for improving margins, reducing costs, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance medication access.

Athena holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Ohio Northern University and a Master of Science in Health System Pharmacy Administration from The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy. She is also an active American Society of Health System Pharmacists (ASHP) member.
