Vinny Rotunno (PharmD, MBA, MS, BCPS) works with hospital and health system clients to optimize their ambulatory infusion strategy and specialty pharmacy services.
Before joining Visante, Vinny completed a PGY1/PGY2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership residency at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. During his time at Ohio State, he led several impactful projects to enhance infusion services, including establishing a centralized infusion referral center. This initiative sought to streamline referral processes across the organization, enhance patient retention, and optimize 340B capture rates for infusion therapies. Vinny also played a key role in conducting opportunity assessments and developing value propositions for including specialty pharmacy services with payor networks, which equipped the team with robust data and insights to inform managed care negotiations.
Vinny earned his Doctor of Pharmacy and Master of Business Administration dual degree from Concordia University Wisconsin in Mequon, Wisconsin, as well as a Master of Science in Health-System Pharmacy Administration from The Ohio State College of Pharmacy. Additionally, he holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois, where he competed as a varsity athlete on their baseball team for four years.
