Alana Columbo is a Visante Sr. Director of business development. She has particular skill with all phases of account sales and management.
Prior to joining the Visante team, Alana was Regional Sales Manager for InstyMeds Corporation, responsible for business development of its fully automated, ATM-style prescription medication dispenser. Through her efforts, the company was able to develop successful business relationships in seven new states.
Previous to this Alana was Director of Sales for Medvantx, Inc. In this position she had national responsibility for recruiting, hiring, and managing regional sales executives. With her team, she was able to launch a point-of-care network that began with an account base of nine physician offices in two states and expanded to over 400 offices nationwide within three years.
Ms. Columbo’s position as Senior Marketing and Sales Representative at Healthvision, Inc. provided her with an opportunity to identify and qualify appropriate healthcare customers for their web-based practice management, billing, and e-prescribing package. At Parkstone, Inc. she was a Regional Account Executive and participated in the initial launch of Parkstone’s innovative point-of-care e-prescribing technology.
Alana began as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative for Innovex-Quintiles Transnational where she was recognized for her ability to readily develop professional interactions with health care providers by offering drug education programs and setting up events that ethically promoted various pharmaceutical products.
Throughout her career Alana has focused on establishing responsible and respected relationships with all levels of healthcare providers, including C-Level Hospital Executives, as a means of developing her business.
Alana Columbo received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Saginaw Valley State University in Saginaw, Michigan.
