Dan is an incisive pharmacy benefit management (PBM) pricing analytics expert specializing in underwriting, competitive analysis and contract execution. Prior to working with Visante, Dan served as Director of Pharmacy Benefits Solutions for Vizient where he specifically focused on maximizing the cohesiveness between health systems' employee pharmacy benefits and their internal pharmacy resources.
Dan's PBM consulting career includes serving as Director of Competitive Intelligence at a PBM. This was followed by his consulting role at Milliman where he further developed his keen eye for vague contract language that can negatively and unsuspectingly impact the value of PBM agreements. At Milliman, he was integral in coordinating the success of America's largest employer PBM cooperative. He was also responsible for leading a team of analysts to develop innovative pilot programs that were aligned to the cooperative's mission of producing transformative, industry-bucking pharmacy benefit solutions.
Dan received a B.A. in English with a minor in Business Management from the State University of New York at Cortland in Cortland, N.Y.
