Our Team

Eric Friestrom, MS, PharmD, 340B ACE, helps hospital and health system clients optimize their financial and operational performance. He provides expertise and counsel in many aspects of high performing pharmacy, including 340B program, supply chain, specialty pharmacy and data analytics.

Prior to joining Visante, Eric was the 340B program manager at UW Health, overseeing 340B daily operations, program expansion implementations, compliance measures and financial performance. At UW Health, he led the implementation of the hospital’s first 340B program as a rural referral center (RRC) hospital.

While at UW Health, Eric led strategic initiatives across the department to optimize hospital revenue opportunities, including supply chain optimization, system 340B clinic expansion and specialty pharmacy growth. Following full implementation of the RRC program, Eric led a system conversion to transition the organization’s 340B program to a Disproportionate Share Hospital, significantly increasing overall net 340B savings.

Eric holds a MS, Health-System Pharmacy Administration from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He also earned a PharmD from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Eric is a certified 340B ACE and earned his BS in Biochemistry and Global Health from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
