Hanh Chu (PharmD, MBA)  is a Senior Director, Pharmacy Informatics and Technology for Visante. She is an experienced, well-rounded leader in informatics, medication safety, and health-system administration.  

Before joining Visante, she was the Assistant Director of Pharmacy – Informatics at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, whose role was to establish a system team to cover the span of informatics across the clinical and operational realms. She grew the team to nine people over the course of seven years, consisting of clinical pharmacy specialists, informatics pharmacists, and system analysts. The team is reputable within the organization for its effectiveness and talent.   

Prior to this, she was a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Informatics and Medication Safety at Mount Auburn Hospital. She also developed the PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice residency program and served as the Residency Program Director. 

Hanh has taken on Interim Director of Pharmacy roles or that of the Chief Pharmacy Officer, at various times throughout her career. As a result, she has a wide breadth of knowledge across the sectors of pharmacy. In all instances, she was able to quickly adapt and manage expectations and establish relationships internally and externally with executive and organizational leadership. 

Hanh completed her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and completed a PGY-1 in Pharmacy Practice and PGY-2 in Medication Use Safety at the UMass Memorial Medical Center. In addition, she received an MBA at the University of Massachusetts and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Psychology at Tufts University.
