Kirsten Galloway is the director of marketing for Visante where she works to advance the company’s brand and position it for success in a complex industry. She develops and implements marketing strategies to broaden awareness and recognition for Visante as the leader in advancing the business of pharmacy and showcase the many successes of Visante’s work with its valued customers and as an industry thought leader.
Prior to joining Visante, Kirsten was an independent consultant working with healthcare companies in a variety of marketing efforts, including developing campaigns, collateral material, advertising copywriting, and public relations initiatives.
Before this, Kirsten was vice-president in the technology group at Weber Shandwick public relations in Minneapolis where she led teams of public relations consultants to successfully position clients in the marketplace, provide strategic direction, develop multi-channel marketing and PR plans, and create website content.
Kirsten held marketing leadership roles at several Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) firms. At ValueRx she was responsible for marketing communications during a period of impressive growth, many acquisitions, and the eventual sale of the company to Express Scripts. This role also required managing crisis communications, employee communications and a successful marketing strategy to support the rebuilding of the brand.
Kirsten was also a product manager at MedIntell Software and a marketing manager with pharmaceutical manufacturer Upsher-Smith Laboratories.
Kirsten holds a Juris Doctor degree from William Mitchell College of Law and a BA in business from the University of St. Thomas.
