Mike Collins (MBA) has more than 36 years’ experience in healthcare, information-technology and chemical industries. He has an in-depth understanding of multi-level selling, business development, pricing strategy, competitive analysis, field enablement and executive relationship development. Additional expertise includes strategy, and innovation methods and practice.

His corporate experience includes positions at Cisco Systems, Automed, Motorola and Baxter Healthcare. Mike has consulted in sales strategy and go-to-market strategy projects. He is also a long time member of the Kellogg Innovation Network.

Mike Collins began his sales career at Baxter Healthcare, Pharmacy Products Division, where he sold core IV products, nutrition, pain management and pharmacy automation. After eight years in field sales, Mike spent two years in business development, working closely with pharmaceutical companies to negotiate co-development agreements for Baxter’s premixed drug mini-bag products. Mike’s healthcare experience includes providers in hospitals, long-term care, mail-order and retail.

Most recently, Mike manages a range of sales and business transformation activities, including account planning, field enablement, negotiation preparation, and sales strategy at Stepan, a specialty chemical company.

Previously, Mike worked at Cisco Systems for eleven years, beginning as an Enterprise Account Manager, where he developed extensive expertise in executive selling and briefings. He also spent six years in various business development roles, developing sales strategies and field enablement capabilities to grow and expand Cisco’s core and emerging technologies.

Prior to Cisco Systems, Mike worked at Motorola managing global sales for Wireless Alliances and Automed Technologies, where he was the National Sales Director in the U.S. and Canada for pharmacy automation products.

Mike also worked in the Renal division of Baxter for four years, where he developed a pricing strategy for the North American Renal group and managed customer satisfaction.

Michael Collins received a Master of Business Administration from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, in Evanston, IL and a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from St. Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, IN.
