Rachel Crenshaw (CPhT) is a pharmacy technician that works with Visante’s clients to provide a variety of services. Rachel strives to provide excellent patient experience through accurate, caring, and efficient services.

Before joining Visante, Rachel worked as a Patient Assistance Technician in multiple ambulatory clinic settings for UVA Health. In this role, she provided assistance by completing applications for ambulatory medications and obtaining prescriptions from the pharmacy for in-person delivery and counseling services. At UVA, She also worked with various departments outside of the pharmacy to coordinate the best possible transition of care from hospital to home.

Rachel graduated from Piedmont Virginia Community College’s ASHP-accredited pharmacy technician program where she spent time training in both inpatient and outpatient pharmacy settings. Rachel has experience with utilizing EPIC, verifying coverage, copay amounts, and other pharmacy-related services. She also assisted with the training of new hires in various systems including Epic, Willow Ambulatory, and Meddata.
