Our Team

Yolonda Mosley (CPhT) is a pharmacy technician who works with Visante’s clients in our specialty pharmacy prior authorization services. Yolonda provides exceptional patient care and customer service. She supports clients and their patients with efficient, accurate and detail-oriented services.

Before joining Visante, Yolonda worked as a Medication Authorization Technician for ambulatory and outpatient services at the University of Virginia. She provided prior authorization services for the Battle Building, Children’s Hospital. In this role, she processed prior authorization requests for 25 clinics including various departments and providers, accessed patients’ medical history using EPIC, and worked within Medicaid/Medicare/Commercial insurance plans. She also used her knowledge of medication patient assistance programs and copay cards to support clients and patients.

Yolonda has been a certified pharmacy technician since 1983. She has gained valuable experience in many areas of pharmacy operations including hospital, retail, free clinics, nursing home, military and specialty. Yolonda is also certified in Medication Therapy Management.

Yolonda earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology degree from Liberty University. She is a member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP). Yolonda also served in the United States Air Force as a Pharmacy Specialist.
